【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversductsandhoodsfabricatedbycontactmoldingintendedforuseinhandlingcorrosivefumesandprocessgases.Specialattentionisgiventoequipmentthatoperatesattemperaturesover180?F(82.2?C)withregardtostrengthandcorrosionresistance.Thematerialofconstructionshallbe"fiberglass"consistingofapolyester,vinylester,orotherqualifiedresin-matrixsystemswithfiberreinforcementinaccordancewithSpecificationC582.Thisspecificationisnotintendedtocoverselectionofresinsandreinforcementsforspecificchemicalenvironments.Alldescriptionsandlimitationsinthisspecificationaretoincludebothductsandhoods,whereapplicable.Thisspecificationcoversductsandhoodsuptoadesignpressureof?5psig(34.5Pa).Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1-ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.
